SerialTek hosts Q2 2024 Tech Seminar in Taiwan: Understanding CXL, PCIe and NVMe technologies to lead the future of high-speed transmission interfaces.

As the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) expand, of course, the demand for data storage and high-bandwidth transmission is also increasing. Faced with this surge, we must rely on faster and more reliable communication protocols such as Compute Express Link (CXL), NVMe-oC (NVMe over CXL) and PCIe 6.0.

While pursuing higher-speed transmission, the challenges we face also increase. Not only do we need to study these high-speed communication protocols more deeply, we also need more suitable instruments and equipment to solve the problems.

In this seminar, we invited PCIe technology experts to come to Taipei for valuable face-to-face technical dialogue. Through this event, they learned how CXL fine-tunes memory resource allocation, expands the infrastructure within the system, and thereby improves the overall performance of the system. They also learned about the transformative potential of CXL, PCIe, and NVMe technology as it revolutionizes industries, spurs innovation, and broadens the horizons of data-centric applications.

The event was held in Hsinchu on April 16, 2024 and in Taipei on April 17, 2024.
